The design project was undertaken during my 3-month internship from July to September of 2023, rendering 250 hours of work.
The project aimed to address the inefficiencies and complexities involved in managing staff within an organization.
The goal was to create a unified and user-friendly platform making it easier and faster to manage staff and improve productivity.
UI/UX Designer
• Designed additional website features that were lacking or not yet present.
• Created wireframes and prototypes for both mobile and desktop platform.
• Translated desktop design into mobile design.
• Conducted auditing and ensured compliance with design standards.
During my internship, I was assigned the task of creating a digital wireframe for desktop platforms. This digital wireframe was intended to serve as the foundational blueprint, ensuring that every aspect of the user interface and user experience was planned and accounted for. The initial stages of sketching and user research had already been completed before I joined the team, so my responsibility was to develop detailed wireframes for sections of the application that did not yet have wireframes. To achieve this, I used Figma create wireframes that included all the essential elements of the user interface. Throughout the wireframe creation process, I maintained constant communication project managers and other UI/UX designers, to ensure that the wireframes met the project's requirements and aligned with the overall vision.

After completing the digital wireframes, the next step in the design process was to transform these wireframes into high-fidelity mockups. Mockups bring the wireframes to life by adding visual design elements such as colors, typography, images, and etc. This step is essential for providing a realistic preview of the final product.

My next task was to translate the desktop designs into mobile designs, adapting the user interface and user experience to fit smaller screens while maintaining functionality.
After translating the desktop designs into mobile designs, my next task was to create interactive prototypes. This step is for testing the flow, usability, and overall functionality of the application before moving into development.

Note: This design for both mobile and desktop, along with prototyping and wireframing, was accomplished through the teamwork we experienced at Pixel8 company during the internship.
I was also actively involved in the auditing and compliance of the design. This was a crucial part of refining the design before handing it over to the development team.
During my internship, I had the opportunity to work on a comprehensive project that involved creating digital wireframes, translating them into high-fidelity mockups, prototyping and auditing. This experience taught me several valuable lessons and skills:
• I learned how to create detailed wireframes that serve as the blueprint for both mobile and desktop applications.
• I gained a deep understanding of responsive design principles, ensuring that the user experience is consistent and seamless across different devices and screen sizes.
• Working closely with team members taught me the importance of effective communication and teamwork.
• The process of translating desktop designs into mobile designs taught me the importance of paying attention to detail, ensuring that every element is optimized for different devices.
• I learned the importance of auditing and compliance in design, ensuring that the application is ready for development.
